Water - Testing & Sterilisation

It is a criminal offence for a water company to supply water which is unfit for human consumption. Consequently - and unsurprisingly - water companies make strenuous efforts to ensure that any work on their water infrastructure does not compromise water quality. The testing and sterilisation of pipelines is fundamental to maintaining a safe and healthy water supply.

Turriff is one of very few contractors to have a mobile pipeline testing and sterilisation unit as an integral part of its fleet. The Epsco Carela system is used to ensure that water networks are free from contamination. Turriff is also able to test and certify water samples. Both of these services are critical on potable water networks.
